sex flush commonly referred sex flush, vasocongestion (increased blood flow) of skin can occur during 4 phases of human sexual response cycle. studies show sex flush occurs in approximately 50–75% of females , 25% of males, yet not consistently. sex flush tends occur more under warmer conditions , may not appear @ under lower temperatures. during female sex flush, pinkish spots develop under breasts, spread breasts, torso, face, hands, soles of feet, , possibly on entire body. vasocongestion responsible darkening of clitoris , walls of vagina during sexual arousal. during male sex flush, coloration of skin develops less consistently in female, typically starts epigastrium (upper abdomen), spreads across chest, continues neck, face, forehead, back, , sometimes, shoulders , forearms. the sex flush typically disappears after orgasm occurs, in other cases may take 2 hours or so, , intense sweating occurs simultaneously.
