with 100th anniversary of sinking of titanic in 2012, australian entrepreneur , billionaire clive palmer announced same intention. palmer announced completion of construction of ship titanic ii in 2 years. ship supposed bulit british company blue star line in china 4 billions crowns. mr. palmer wants identical copy of original part of ship that’s supposed serve guests (including common toilet in corridor, third class bunk above etc.) opposite of mr. vrkoč’s project.

on february 26 of 2013, american newspaper usa today published article palmer mentions doesn’t want use modern technologies in ship. instance, passengers have without tv signal or internet connection. first trip should chinese province jiangsu dubai in united arab emirates.


in 2016, clive palmer released new information, ship built in 2018. construction cost 9 13 billion crowns. ship 53 meters high , 269 meters long. have 840 cabins 2 435 passengers , 900 members crew. palmer wants have elements on ship historical reasons though won’t functional. there no information construction of ship or project.
