a more complete recording starring nelson eddy made columbia records in 1953. preferred recording of score on lp until end of vinyl era. re-released on compact disc. around same time, gordon macrae , lucille norman recorded 10-inch lp of score capitol [l-351], reissued on 12-inch lps in 1968 [mfp-1184 (uk)] , re-released on cd in 2010 [hallmark 707902]. recording available on cd paired roberta. kathryn grayson recorded selections tony martin on 10-inch record rca victor in 1952. complete 1958 studio cast album giorgio tozzi , kathy barr, conducted lehman engel, released rca victor , available on cd. 1959 british studio cast album stars edmund hockeridge , june bronhill. has been reissued on cd. victor recorded mario lanza in highlights score. released in 1959 shortly after singer s death, became 1 of best-selling lps , available on cd, paired student prince.
