on 28 january 1991, mayor michel meurdesoif , rene gumez, secretary general of union des syndicats cgt des verriers d aniche, signed lease agreement rebuild theater. manager alain moret, commissioned artist , sculptor georges hugot. resulting theater hall half size of original, , named after french filmmaker jacques tati. on 3 june 1995, city held inaugural ceremony culturel et communal claude-berri building complex, named after french actor/filmmaker claude berri. complex contains l idéal cinéma jacques tati cultural hall pol.
on 31 december 2012, theater celebrated arrival of 3d digital system, new seats , decor. accommodates 187 seats , provides access reduced mobility.
