the chancel has open timber roof. nave has stone barrel-vaulted roof. indicates fortified building, , said stone barrel-vaulted church in england. corbels @ west end support bellcote , parapet walk. corbels elsewhere in nave have uncertain function, possibly supported centring on vault built.


as piscina on south side of chancel, there piscinae in both transepts (indicating have had altars); piscina in south transept has ogee arch , recesses aumbries. font has 14th century appearance, may older. around walls plaques dating 18th , 19th centuries. in windows stained glass dated 1864 , 1884 designed r. b. edmundson. on west wall boards dating 19th century carry creed , lord s prayer. organ built casson positive organ company.
