bürgerhaus

the town hall of fischbach established shortly before village incorporated kelkheim. today building community center, contains outposts of kelkheim city authorities , home several clubs. functional architecture typical buildings of 70s. fire brigade facilities located @ town hall square.


albert-von-reinach school

albert-von reinach-school elementary school. located above town hall square , consists of 2 buildings. catchments area equivalent fischbach area. school named after albert von reinach (* november 7, 1842 in frankfurt main; † january 12, 1905). banker frankfurt, built villa nearby village. albert von reinach supported school noble donations. older building erected in 1952/54, newer 1 in 1967. complex replaced old school building near st. trinity church, placed there @ least since 1822 , demolished in 1967. first school in fischbach documented in 1604.


staufen school / eichendorff school

staufenschule (5th – 10th form) had been comprehensive school children fischbach, hornau, ruppertshain , eppenhain. several years, secondary school. too. building built in 70s architecture style. since july 31, 2006, has been branch of kelkheim s eichendorff school.


staufenhalle

after long planning-period, new sports hall opened gates in 2002. “staufenhalle” replaced old version 1971. hall largest roofed room in kelkheim. has small tribune , used upper mentioned schools several sports clubs , events of regional interest.


sports field

open air sports events take place on fischbach sports field. it’s located on border of wood in west-end of village. used football matches of local football club sv fischbach , opened on may 31, 1930. in 1952 area modified. ground had been rotated 90 degrees, changing rooms built. sports field reopened on august 2, 1953. in 1982 facilities renovated , house club activities built. sports field equipped artificial turf during summer 2008.
