knights plaza home ucf knights athletic programs , designed athletic village. football team plays in bright house networks stadium, men s , women s basketball teams in cfe arena, , volleyball team plays in venue. plaza contains jay bergman field, 2000-seat baseball stadium men s baseball team, , 2,000 seat ucf soccer , track stadium.

the cfe arena has hosted many performances, such comedians: dave chappelle, carlos mencia, bob saget , bill cosby; concerts paul simon, elton john, reba mcentire, 9 inch nails; , other events such harlem globetrotters, sesame street live, monster truck shows, rodeos, circus, , speech former president bill clinton.


throughout year, knights plaza plays movies on two-story outdoor movie screen in middle of plaza students surrounding community residents enjoy. many people set picnic, , knights plaza food vendors provide @ seat food delivery. prior start of movie, contests, block parties, , other events take place throughout plaza. couches , seats provided knights plaza.


a farmers market held in open plaza area of knights plaza. on eighty different vendors, sell fresh produce, jewellery, artwork, , other locally made items students , local area residents.

during holiday season (november–january), knights plaza constructs outdoor ice rink in front of arena , hosts events nightly celebrate holiday season. during light ucf, high tech light show consisting of on 75,000 lights dances around plaza holiday music, , live concerts performed bands such marching knights , local artists. during 2008 inaugural year, attracted on 150,000 attendees. 2009 season includes 20% larger ice rink arctic guide ice slide, mcdonald s ferris wheel, kris kringle s carousel, santa s village , many more lights provide more entertainment attendees.
