the group founded in 1994 bass line , stryka. bass line’s musical influence comes father, radio announcer caribbean show on, , works behind scenes @ cbc (canadian broadcasting corporation). stryka left group few years later , became webmaster caribbean entertainment , social networking website, islandmix.com. short time before stryka left, recruited marly marl d enforcas. marly s influence comes father, pioneer soca dj bad lad. bass line & marly marl first met in bad lad s house bass line shop records. dj bad lad later opened record store in scarborough, canada.

the duo went on make soca music mainstream , change landscape of toronto s urban nightlife scene; coining term resident soca dj . since 1998 have held successful resident dj spots @ of cities weekly parties in such clubs tonic, guvernment, karma, budo, fluid, seven, jade, steam, rumours, club 26, essence, escape & nightclub name few.

they known doing large scale urban events hosted celebrities such as: def jam party big tigger (from bet), vince carter s birthday gala, bass line , morris peterson s birthday collaboration, 112/jagged edge party, dmx s quadruple platinum party, shaquille o neal s victory bash, bet/hot 97 party @ guvernment , flipmode squad party.

d enforcas have opened hip hop, r&b, soca & dancehall acts such as: lauryn hill, destiny s child, nas, buju banton, ciara, busta rhymes, mos def, jadakiss, fat joe, jaheim, mobb deep, slum village, machel montano, freeway, ideal, doug e. fresh, bilal, wu-tang clan, dwele, young bloodz, hi-tek, avant , ryan leslie.

the sound started double , triple booked on nights , in 2006, international soca artist/producer kerwin dubois joined d enforcas crew s 3rd dj increased number of events. dubois brought new element sound - production. bass line & kerwin went on make few unofficial remixes, played in clubs performed. in 2008, kerwin dubois left group, , recruited mejustik (aka gadget) take place 3rd member. mejustik comes musical family background. started dj career playing alongside uncle, 1 of canada’s pioneer soca dj’s group maceo since age of 12. graduated harris institute arts producing/engineering program (pep) in 2006. mejustik became engineering specialist of d enforcas.

in january 2012, d enforcas officially asked dj enuff new york city (best known official tour dj notorious b.i.g.) join heavy hitter dj family. d’enforcas first djs in canada , first soca djs in world asked join heavy hitters. today, d enforcas continue tour world , promote caribbean culture.

d enforcas have made media appearances on synergy tv (trinidad), music (da mix, down lo), bet, nrg radio (finland), wnyc (new york city), chin-fm, ciut-fm, ckut-fm (montreal), chry-fm, wblk (buffalo), cjam (windsor), ckln-fm, bbc radio (england), ckfg-fm 98.7 , flow 93.5 (live-to-airs).

from 2007-2008, mejustik had internet radio show on globe-radio.com called unleashed mixshow . in 2008, d enforcas (bass line & marly) started show on same internet station, called winery . when mejustik joined sound, merged 2 shows form unleash de winery . show airs saturdays on myradiolive.com.

in 2009, started syndicated radio show called hitmaker show , played on tempo radio 94.4 fm in london, uk, caribbean nitro radio 101.7 fm in new york , soca jam 101.1 fm in miami, florida. show no longer airs.

on december 4, 2011, started soak in soca on commercial radio station chin 100.7fm in toronto. show simulcast on station, , on internet radio station teamsoca.com.

in 2009, bass line & mejustik started producing remixes soca music. first remix machel montano , umi marcano. remix featured on album machel montano presents hd family . went on produce official remixes artistes such bunji garlin, fay-ann lyons, shal marshall, , young voice name few.
