in mexico, transgender sex workers not included in official hiv prevention materials despite being part of population @ high risk of contracting hiv. many factors contribute higher risk, such socioeconomic status, context in sex work takes place, , stigma associated sex work , transgender identity whole. however, programs in mexico aim lower rates of hiv , other stis not address these root causes directly, instead taking approach focuses on quick action providing condoms , other prevention measures.
