in 1975, 9 schools lehigh valley region of eastern pennsylvania merged form colonial league. since then, total of 6 teams have joined league, 1 team leaving.

1994 departure
in 1994, nazareth blue eagles decided leave colonial league compete larger schools lehigh valley in mountain valley conference. since then, joined lehigh valley conference in 2001 , successor conference, eastern pennsylvania conference, in 2014.
2014 additions
the following schools formerly associate members of colonial league; participated in number of sports, in league play , others independent status. in time 2014–15 sports seasons, promoted full-time membership.

the following school offered change associate member status full-time membership 2014-15 season, declined. accept full membership have meant small traditionally single-a school required play sports @ aa level. in best competitive interest of students offer declined.
