on september 8, 2015, crown empire released new single, titled prisoners of war on digital retailers part of deluxe reissue of resistance: rise of runaways. deluxe reissue released on october 30, 2015, including prisoners of war , new track titled cross our bones , alternate version of machines , acoustic version of millennia .


on november 6, 2015, crown empire revealed alternative press lead guitarist benn suede no longer part of band.
