at height of 80s care bears craze, kid stuff records released several lps based on franchise. these included introducing care bears , care bears care , adventures in care-a-lot , care bears birthday party , , care bears christmas (all 1983), , 1986 s friends make better (released promotion trianimic). released soundtrack albums first 2 movies. albums based on toys best sellers in children s music during prime.


all of albums 1983 (except birthday party ) featured writing, production, , performance credits mark volman , howard kaylan (who lead singers of turtles, known flo & eddie; former mothers of invention frank zappa s 1970–1972 period). soundtrack album care bears movie featured songs carole king , john sebastian, sang lead lovin spoonful.


in midst of 2002 revival, madacy kids released brand new care bear cds. in 2004, meet care bears, care bears holiday hugs, care bears christmas eve, , care bears: journey joke-a-lot soundtrack album came out, care bears nighty-night following year.
