ewing trained @ acadiana gymnastics training center in lafayette, louisiana throughout entire club competitive career.


2009-13: club competitive career

sydney moved level 10 2009 season; @ age of fourteen @ regionals, placed eighteenth in all-around. in 2010, third @ states , tenth @ regionals. @ first j.o. nit, in dallas, texas, ewing placed tenth in all-around. ewing louisiana state champion in 2011. , fifth in all-around , second on beam @ regionals. @ nationals, thirty-fifth in all-around. ewing defended state title during 2012 season. later, sydney finished ninth in all-around @ regionals; advancing jo nit. on june 29, 2012, ewing committed louisiana state university , lsu lady tigers gymnastics team. @ nit, ewing fifth in all-around. final season in 2013; finishing second @ regionals. @ nationals, finished thirty-first in all-around.


2014–present: college gymnastics career

throughout recruiting process, ewing offered scholarshipd georgia gym dogs, new hampshire wildcats , southern utah thunderbirds teams. however, decided walk-on lsu.
