richard holtzman, chicago businessman owned many 5 minor league teams, purchased franchise semrow , remained owner 1987 until 1998.


in 1998, holtzman sold team seventh inning stretch, company owned kevin krause, businessman out of mason city, iowa, , son of kum & go co-founder william krause.


on december 28, 2006, krause agreed sell team florida-based main street baseball undisclosed price; sale completed on november 29, 2007.


under main street baseball s ownership, led dave heller , bob herrfeldt, river bandits sparked stunning resurgence of baseball in quad cities, winning league championships in 2011 , 2013, setting new attendance records , capturing numerous awards innovative promotions.


since heller , herrfeldt took on bandits, sponsorship sales, suite sales, ticket sales, , concession sales have seen annual increases. team s average attendance in first year under main street rose more 56%, largest such increase in baseball, , has climbed 3,700 fans per game. bandits have led 1 of sports successful rebranding campaigns – merchandise sales after 2008 rebranding increased more 400% (and additional 34% in 2009!), sponsorships jumped more 64% in first season, , cnbc named team s logo 1 of top 8 in minor league baseball.
