one of biggest vrkoč‘s success dragging general manager of competitive project own project. other collaborators include project’s main engineer , designer worked on cunard s queen mary ii, stephen payne , ivan samák, former director of czech shipyard in chvaletice. samák figures in project natural person only.

because of safety reasons, ship reduction in size , fuel consumption, original coal boilers exchanged modern diesel engines. exterior designed same original appearance of titanic regard safety reasons , use of modern technologies. actual construction of ship made using modern materials, hidden , result, elements have esthetic meaning. interior designed based on original ship well, , because of safety reasons, second , third class cabins partially removed. first class cabins, dining room, stairs etc., maintain same. project open compromise, mentioned above, in sense of fake rooms work small museums. there newly designed 2 classes: first class remains same , carries name titanic class, second class named fun tanic class, replacing original second , third class.

in 2012 french saint-nazaire stx france belongs stx europe became general partner of project. alain buck welcomed them in shipyard itself. shipyard made concession advance amounted tens of thousands of euros instead of usual 2,5 billion crowns.

in same year, project suspended due announcement of similar interest of billionaire clive palmer. because of this, project headed mr. ondřej vrkoč postponed 2 years , waiting outcome of competitive project. since apparent halt of palmer s project, vrkoč s project has since resumed.

year 2015

the work on project renewed in 2015 , announced on 10 february 2016 @ world titanic exhibition held in prague letňany mr. vrkoč worked , taught.

the cost estimation of new project reduced 3 billion crowns 8 billion crowns without reducing quality of luxuries. contract construction of titanic still due signed in middle late 2017. if signed, project expected complete in 3 years. construction of ship estimated take 2 years.
