folk dancing

christian faith

oxenham brought in congregational church (later united reformed church in england), , beliefs , consequent philosophy of life apparent throughout series. whilst not proselytise, characters discuss reasons behind , bad happenings, , grow in own beliefs so. allows give depth characters might not otherwise become apparent solely through actions.
