ny 129 begins @ intersection ny 9a (south riverside avenue) in village of croton-on-hudson, next u.s. route 9 (us 9). ny 129 proceeds northward ny 9a along maple street, two-lane commercial street through village. @ van cortlandt park, ny 129 becomes residential, passing croton-harmon high school bends northeast. @ junction grand street, ny 129 continues northeast on grand street, two-lane residential street. route continues northeast through village, crossing intersection quaker bridge road before becoming wooded lane in town of cortlandt. in cortlandt, ny 129 continues north grand street, paralleling local creek , entering croton dam plaza.
