though many research projects carried out @ station regarding geography , biology in general, particular emphasis placed on meteorology , plant ecology. many of these projects overlap station hosts research climate change in region , resulting changes plant communities. in recent years, research has included work on permafrost degradation, importance of winter climate change , tree-line dynamics.
