the trail passes eagle rock lookout on orange mountain ridge of first watchung mountain, views of new york skyline, , goes under i-280 , follows power lines on second watchung mountain. side trail planned lead south mountain reservation, between orange mountain , second watchung mountain. lenape trail continues through becker park (a former dairy farm). here there blue side trail walter kidde dinosaur park. park has thousands of dinosaur tracks, including smallest ones ever found. lenape trail continues west across morristown , erie railway tracks , passes under i-280. side trail goes west lurker park in east hanover on other side of passaic river. lenape trail continues along hatfield swamp , essex county environmental center before ending @ patriots path.
