march 12, 2011 – in final of big east tournament, huskies defeated louisville score of 69–66 claim seventh big east championship. victory capped unprecedented run wherein huskies won 5 tournament games in 5 consecutive days. 4 of wins came against top-25 opponents. junior all-american guard kemba walker scored tournament-record 130 points in five-game run, , named tournament mvp.
