the carnaval coordinated australian trade commissioner greg wallis, took challenge of creating brazilian side match against chile s santiago saints after meeting saints president robert spurr. first match between saints , carnaval took place in rio de janeiro on june 20, 2009. match in buenos aires against argentine national team planned later in 2009.
