lama shashi master in buddhist thangka painting , committed re-establishing residential monk community @ chhairo gompa. tulachan family neighbouring village of tukuche, south , comes long line of buddhist artists. father, kamal dhoj tulachan, , grandfather responsible many wall paintings , statues found in gompas, chortens , private household shrines in villages of thak kola (upper kali gandaki) area.

lama shashi’s statue work can seen @ lumbini , designs many of buddhist statues produced @ karma samtenling monastery in kathmandu. number of buddhist paintings have been exhibited internationally.
