the festival run on ten stages: live music , acoustic stages, dj stages, hip-hop stage, psytrance stage, 1 theatre , cabaret tent, 1 comedy tent becomes electro swing speakeasy after dark, cinema tent, roaming spoken word tent , circus, fire , performance walkabout acts. stage descriptions taken nozstock website.

orchard stage

at heart of festival site , set in auditorium of orchard nozstock’s main stage. here can expect dance socks off bill showcasing homegrown talent, alongside pick of national newcomer crop , best of more established acts. brilliant mix of bands on world pick pace rock, indie, ska, hip hop, world percussion , surprises.

garden stage

the garden stage hosts diverse , eclectic brew of bands , djs providing alternative sounds. stage spans genres throbbing dance, funk, , hip hop, blues, rock , acoustic musings. @ right time, might hear burst of opera. ideally situated on hillside overlooking farm’s lake, garden bar around corner, perfect spot sit in sun , wet whistle beautifully blended guitar riffs, stoking fires late night dance filthy electronic beats.

bandstand

standing proud @ hilltop of dingle bandstand. hosting variety of eclectic sounds, philosophy bring diverse, unsigned , experimental acts stage. stage perfect looking comfy sofa chill beer, hoping source new music. tucked own area on far side of dingle, bandstand creates atmosphere of own. when phill jupitus visited nozstock : hidden valley, said favourite stage.

cubicles

pulsing whompin’ basslines through night wee hours of morn, nozstock’s largest dance arena converted cowshed run musical prodigies, dex, octo-pi & koncept. dance arena houses deep , dirty drum ‘n’ bass. cubicles revelers treated heart shaking bass , breaks of local resident talents alongside of skillful world-renowned turntablists dj establishment.

psytrance stalwarts tribe of frog return nozstock bring deep beats coppice weekend long. euphoric, luminous , incredible attention detail, beautiful spot within festival, run these tried , trusted promoters finger on pulse of audience, brings regulars year after year.

swing stage

the thematically named stage of swing brings electro swing soul , vintage rock ‘n’ roll, staging after hours takeover of comedy tent. expect vintage decor, entertainers , performers plus swinging tunes , dance floor-shaking soul , motown in full-on party mood. don’t forget vaudevillian accoutrements…
