the liffey rises in liffey head bog between kippure , tonduff in wicklow mountains, forming many streamlets @ sally gap. flows 132 km (82 mi) through counties wicklow, kildare , dublin before entering irish sea @ mouth @ midpoint of dublin bay, on line extending baily lighthouse muglin rocks. crosses county wicklow county kildare @ poulaphouca , county kildare county dublin @ leixlip, of length being in kildare.
