capcom cup 2015 held @ moscone center in san francisco, california on sunday, december 6, 2015. tournament hosted on second day of sony s playstation experience event. 2015 cup, capcom increased maximum player spots 16 32. players had win @ least 2 out of 3 games in order reach top 8. capcom cup had total prize pool of $250,000 usd, split among top 8 players followed:



1st place: $120,000
2nd place: $60,000
3rd place: $25,000
4th place: $15,000
5th-6th place: $10,000 each
7th-8th place: $5,000 each

the tournament opened @ 10:00 local time , closed @ 9:30 pm. there 2 livestreams of event available on official capcom pro tour website.


prior tournament, many fans worried character elena dominant force throughout tournament. character placed @ top of tier lists @ time due awkward , healing ultra skill. justin wong, gamerbee, , xian had been highly successful throughout 2015 season playing character, though elena ended not being used during tournament.
