ny 133 begins in downtown of ossining village @ intersection us 9 (north highland avenue). ny 133 proceeds northeast through ossining croton avenue, two-lane commercial street. winding northeast several blocks, ny 133 passes multiple apartment buildings before intersecting southern terminus of ny 134 (dale avenue). @ ny 134, ny 133 turns closer east, crossing large residential section of ossining after linden avenue. ny 133 winds eastward several blocks, becoming commercial/residential street through town of ossining, winding eastward distance grade-separated interchange ny 9a (the briarcliff–peekskill parkway).
after crossing ny 9a, ny 133 continues eastward through ossining, changing names somerstown road. two-lane residential road, ny 133 bends northeastward, winding through town. @ brookside road, route continues northeast, changing names somerstown turnpike. route remains similar in design several miles, crossing town of new castle two-lane residential road. ny 133 intersects ny 100 (saw mill river road), forming concurrency through new castle. after junction, ny 133 , ny 100 enter interchange taconic state parkway, uses ramps campfire road. after interchange, routes enter hamlet of millwood.
