ny 120 southbound along concurrency ny 133 in millwood


ny 133 begins in downtown of ossining village @ intersection us 9 (north highland avenue). ny 133 proceeds northeast through ossining croton avenue, two-lane commercial street. winding northeast several blocks, ny 133 passes multiple apartment buildings before intersecting southern terminus of ny 134 (dale avenue). @ ny 134, ny 133 turns closer east, crossing large residential section of ossining after linden avenue. ny 133 winds eastward several blocks, becoming commercial/residential street through town of ossining, winding eastward distance grade-separated interchange ny 9a (the briarcliff–peekskill parkway).


after crossing ny 9a, ny 133 continues eastward through ossining, changing names somerstown road. two-lane residential road, ny 133 bends northeastward, winding through town. @ brookside road, route continues northeast, changing names somerstown turnpike. route remains similar in design several miles, crossing town of new castle two-lane residential road. ny 133 intersects ny 100 (saw mill river road), forming concurrency through new castle. after junction, ny 133 , ny 100 enter interchange taconic state parkway, uses ramps campfire road. after interchange, routes enter hamlet of millwood.


the concurrency ends ny 133 turns northeast on station place, passing strip mall bends north along station place. after bend, route becomes two-lane residential/commercial street through millwood, passing former site of millwood station of new york central railroad s putnam division. station demolished in may 2012 after years of neglect. after former station, ny 133 intersects ny 120 (shingle house road). @ intersection, ny 133 , ny 120 become concurrent along street known millwood road (formerly shingle house). 2 routes wind eastward along two-lane residential road, passing gedney park , leaving hamlet of millwood. short distance northeast of millwood, ny 120 forks east on quaker road, while ny 133 continues north on millwood.


ny 133 continues northeast on millwood road two-lane residential street, winding through town of new castle, passing numerous homes couple miles. section referred hawk alley. after making turn east, ny 133 intersects 7 bridges road (unsigned county route 5 (cr 5)). route winds eastward after cr 5, starting same wind towards northeast. residences give way dense woods, ny 133 entering village of mount kisco. after crossing mount kisco, ny 133 enters interchange exit 34 of saw mill river parkway. known west main street, ny 133 two-lane residential street several blocks, bending southeast @ kisco avenue. here name changes main street, , ny 133 passes mount kisco metro-north station. 3 blocks train station, route enters feigel square, intersects ny 117 (north bedford road), serves eastern terminus of ny 133.
