kowloon station (1978)
some members of newly created board attempted intervene save tsim sha tsui terminus of kowloon canton railway demolition, informed did not have right in matter.
hong kong club building (1980)
after hesitating intervene in case of privately held property, board voted in eleventh hour, late in 1980, make hong kong club building declared monument. petition sent executive council, plea rejected on 16 september 1980 on grounds cost unacceptable hk$500 million rescue.
edinburgh place ferry pier (2006)
in 2001, impact assessment report central reclamation, noting public attachment edinburgh place ferry pier , clock tower, recommended relocation, approved antiquities advisory board in 2002.
queen s pier (2007)
the aab convened public hearing on 9 may 2007 discuss grading of queen s pier.
board members voted majority give grade 1 listing, without recommendation government on status monument. however, government ignored vote, stating motion non-binding on government.
ho tung gardens (2013)
ho tung gardens declared proposed monument in 2011, demolished in 2013.
