huskies of honor


on december 26, 2006, uconn announced inaugural inductees huskies of honor recognition program, class of 13 players , 3 coaches later introduced @ halftime during february 5, 2007 uconn-syracuse game. former athletic director john toner inducted on february 28, 2009. on april 5, 2011, kemba walker first men s basketball player added program since inaugural inductees, honor bestowed after leading team national championship.


the huskies of honor each recognized 4 5 foot panel displays name, jersey number , years of service, , plaque summarizes each s career accomplishments; both panels , plaques on permanent display @ gampel pavilion on university of connecticut campus in storrs, connecticut.
