tambdi surla temple
mahadeva temple, tambdi surla
this small exquisite 12th century shiva temple of lord mahadeva active place or worship, located 13 km east of bolcornem village, past end of single lane paved road in northern region of park. temple consists of garbhagriha, antarala , pillared nandi mandapa built of basalt. 4 pillars, embellished intricate carvings of elephants , chains support stone ceiling decorated finely carved lotus flowers of ashtoken variety.
dudhsagar falls
dudhsagar falls (literally sea of milk) tiered waterfall located high on mandovi river @ karnataka border in southwest part of park, 10 km upstream collem village. @ 310 m, goa s tallest waterfall, india s fifth tallest, , 227th in world viaduct of south western railways passes spectacularily through waterfalls. popular destination may reached hiking along 10 km 1 lane dirt road or hiring 4-wheel drive vehicle @ collem. access dangerous , restricted during monsoon season of june september.
devils canyon
this eerie canyon of water carved crevises downstream dudh sagar falls, created solid rock serpentine underwater currents. off main trail past collem entry point.

this waterfall, located 2 km southwest of tambdi surla, @ karnataka border, equally spectacular , less tall dudsagar falls, visited because of difficult access steep, winding , irregular rocky path. local guide required.
sunset point
this point provides scenic view of park, revealing expanse of closed canopy treetops. can reached park vehicles, hired @ mollem check-point, driving along zig-zagging road carved mountain.
